Fünf Jahrzehnte Bandgeschichte, 18 Alben und zahlreiche Auszeichnungen: Judas Priest können auf eine beeindruckende Karriere zurückblicken. Das feiern die Rocklegenden jetzt mit einer Veröffentlichung. Ab Freitag (11.09.2020) kann ihr erstes offizielles Buch unter dem Titel "50 Years Heavy Metal" vorbestellt werden.

Bestückt wurde das Werk mit Fotos, unter anderem von Ross Halfin: "Ich habe Judast Priest von 1978 bis heute fotografiert und von allen Bands mit denen ich bisher gearbeitet habe, sind sie die unterhaltsamste für mich", so der 63-jährige Brite.

Das Buch selbst wollen Judas Priest in vier verschiedenen Editionen veröffentlichen. Laut der Band sollen alle Bestellungen Anfang Dezember verschickt werden, damit Fans sie rechtzeitig zu Weihnachten in den Händen halten können.
